Blackstone LaunchPad is a national model for fostering entrepreneurship through higher education. Based on a successful program at the University of Miami, it encourages entrepreneurial thinking and activity among undergraduate and graduate students as well as faculty and alumni for the purpose of incubating a new generation of entrepreneurs who will contribute to the economic revitalization of distressed regions.

Over a five-year period with Blackstone LaunchPads in multiple regions, hundreds of thriving businesses can be launched with the potential to create or support thousands of direct and indirect jobs.

Blackstone LaunchPad was recognized in January 2011 by The White House’s Startup America Initiative for its groundbreaking work. As members of Startup America, we are committed to expanding the program to five regions in five years.
