David Bradley to Join Blackstone
New York, April 2, 2009 – The Blackstone Group (NYSE: BX) today announced that David Bradley has agreed to join the firm effective end of June 2009 as a Senior Managing Director in its Corporate Advisory Group and as Head of its Global Chemicals Practice. Mr. Bradley was formerly Managing Director and Global Head of Chemicals at UBS.
Commenting on the appointment, John Studzinski, Global Head of Blackstone’s Advisory Group said: “We are delighted to have someone with David’s acumen and expertise in the chemicals sector join us. David Bradley has 25 years’ investment banking experience, having spent the past seven years at UBS. Prior to that, he spent nine years with JP Morgan Chase and its predecessor companies. He started his career at Barclays in 1984 in the corporate finance department in London. He graduated from Birmingham University in the UK with an honors degree in physics and attended the London Business School.
