Akshay Natarajan is a Vice President with Blackstone Advisory Partners, based in London.  He joined Blackstone in 2008 and was based in Hong Kong until 2010.  Since joining Blackstone, Mr. Natarajan has worked on a wide range of M&A advisory assignments involving clients from various industry sectors, including, in particular, the metals and mining and automotive sectors.  Mr. Natarajan has worked on transactions involving Chinalco, Noble Group, Thompson Creek Metals, Jaguar Land Rover, PSA Peugeot Citroën and several other global corporations.

Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Natarajan was an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division of Lehman Brothers in Hong Kong.  He has also worked previously as an Engineer at Sify Limited, a leading internet service provider in India.

Mr. Natarajan received a B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Madras and an M.B.A. from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad.
