Alexander Zarzhevsky is a Managing Director in Blackstone Credit and Insurance (BXCI) based in New York. He is also a senior U.S. credit research analyst involved with the ongoing analysis and evaluation of primary and secondary fixed income investments.

Mr. Zarzhevsky joined Blackstone in 2005 from RBC, where he was a Senior Associate with primary responsibility for research and analysis of investments within the collateralized debt portfolios. Previously, Mr. Zarzhevsky worked at Mizuho Corporate Bank, Ltd, where he was an Assistant Vice President within its leveraged finance group. At Mizuho, Mr. Zarzhevsky recommended investments across a wide range of industries on behalf of the bank’s three CDO funds, in addition to underwriting exposures for the bank.

Mr. Zarzhevsky received a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Yeshiva University’s Sy Syms School of Business and is a CFA® Charterholder.
