Since joining Blackstone, Mr. Otto has worked on several transactions for clients including E.ON AG, GDF SUEZ, PetroChina, Thompson Creek Metals, Pepco Holdings, Hastings Funds Management and The Navajo Nation.

Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Otto worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions group of Direct Energy, Centrica plc’s North American portfolio of diversified energy businesses. Prior to Centrica, Mr. Otto worked in the Corporate Finance group of Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. where he was involved in the company’s capital raising activities, commercial launch and $1.2B recapitalization. Prior to working at Sirius, Mr. Otto was an Analyst in the Industrial Products and Services group at Bear, Stearns & Co. Inc. 

Mr. Otto received a BA in Physics from Hamilton College where he graduated summa cum laude and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
