Andy Chen is a Senior Vice President in the Legal & Compliance Group and is based in Hong Kong. 

Before joining Blackstone in 2012, Mr. Chen spent three years at the Hong Kong office of Ropes & Gray where he advised on a variety of M&A and private equity transactions.  Prior to that, he worked for four years at the Chicago office of Latham & Watkins in the corporate department. 

Mr. Chen received a Bachelor’s degree in English and International Finance from Shanghai Jiaotong University, a Master’s degree in International Relations from Yale University, and a J.D. from Northwestern University School of Law.
