Since joining GSO Capital in 2007, Mr. Gonzalez has been in charge of the Treasury Department for all Hedge Funds managed by GSO Capital Partners.

Before joining GSO Capital, Mr. Gonzalez worked as an independent consultant to financial firms. Prior to that, Mr. Gonzalez was CFO of The Provident Group, a boutique investment banking firm specializing in small- to mid-size firms throughout Latin America. Before that he was Head of Securities Operations for Bank of Boston where he was a board member of the Emerging Markets Clearing Corporation.

Mr. Gonzalez received a BS in Accounting with a minor in Economics from Kean University in NJ. He was a member of the Institute of Management Accountants and Institute of Project Managers.
