Carl Wu is a Principal in the Private Equity group and is based in Hong Kong. Since joining Blackstone in 2007, Mr. Wu has been involved in the evaluation and execution of private equity transactions including Gerresheimer, Dili Holding and China Investment Development. Mr. Wu has also been involved in the establishment of Blackstone's RMB Fund in China. Prior to moving to Hong Kong, Mr. Wu previously worked at Blackstone's London office.

Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Wu worked at UBS in both the Energy Group and the Mergers and Acquisitions Group.

Mr. Wu received a B.Sc. in Economics from the London School of Economics, where he graduated with First Class Honours.
