Craig Schortzmann is a Vice President in the Hedge Fund Solutions Group, focused on the Strategic Capital Holdings & Strategic Alliance Platforms.

Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Schortzmann was a Principal at Asset Management Finance LLC (“AMF”), a division of Credit Suisse, which focused on making principal investments in alternative and traditional asset management firms. While at AMF, Mr. Schortzmann focused on new investment origination, structuring and underwriting, and transaction execution.

Prior to joining AMF, Mr. Schortzmann was an Associate within the Investment Management division of Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. As a member of the Portfolio Analyst program, he implemented investment strategies, conducted company, sector and industry research, and performed portfolio and security risk analyses for the firm's portfolio management team.

Mr. Schortzmann received his Bachelor of Arts in American History from Wesleyan University. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and membership in the CFA Institute.
