Darren Richman is a Senior Managing Director with The Blackstone Group. He focuses on distressed and special situation investments, and is a member of GSO’s Investment Committee.

Before joining GSO Capital Partners in 2006, Mr. Richman worked at DiMaio Ahmad Capital where he was a founding member and the co-head of its investment research team.

Prior to joining DiMaio Ahmad Capital, Mr. Richman was a Vice President and Senior Special Situations analyst at Goldman, Sachs.

Mr. Richman began his career with Deloitte & Touche, and ultimately served as a Manager in the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions Services Group.

Mr. Richman holds BS/BA degrees in Accounting from the University of Hartford and an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business.  He was formerly a Certified Public Accountant and a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
