Since joining Blackstone in 1999, Mr. Walsh has assumed the accounting and reporting functions for Blackstone’s operations in New York and London.  He has played a key role in securing the firm’s current revolving credit facility.

Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Walsh was Group Controller at W.P. Stewart & Co., Ltd., where he was responsible for worldwide financial and regulatory reporting. Prior to joining W.P. Stewart, Mr. Walsh spent 11 years at Morgan Stanley serving in various capacities in the Controller’s Group.

Mr. Walsh received a BS in Accounting from the State University of New York at Binghamton. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the AICPA and the NYSSCPA.
