Erik Lisher is a Managing Director in the Restructuring & Reorganization Group.

Since joining Blackstone in 2003, Mr. Lisher has worked on a variety of restructuring and strategic advisory assignments involving various companies including aaiPharma, American Capital, Comcast, Communications Corporation of America, Evergreen Solar, Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, General Motors, Ford Motor Company, Financial Guaranty Insurance Company (“FGIC”), Hawker Beechcraft, Levitz Home Furnishings, Magna Entertainment, Marchon Eyewear, Meridian Lightweight Technologies, Meritor, Nebraska Book Company, Quiznos, Russell-Stanley, Specialty Products, Westpoint Stevens, and XL Capital.

Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Lisher was an Associate at J.P. Morgan, where he executed various financing and mergers and acquisitions assignments.

Mr. Lisher received a B.A. in Political Science from Wake Forest University and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.
