James Carnegie is a Senior Advisor to the Blackstone Group, focusing on the Australian market.  

Mr. Carnegie is a former partner at Archer Capital, a leading Australian mid-market private equity fund, prior to which he was a Director of the Macquarie Direct Investment group, Macquarie Bank’s private equity division.

Mr. Carnegie received a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne as well as an M.B.A. with Distinction from Harvard University.  He is currently Chairman of Get The World Moving and Chairman Elect of Global Shop Direct.
