Since joining GSO Capital in 2006, Mr. Herschman has been a manager in the Middle Office Operations group responsible for management reporting and trade support.

Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Herschman started and maintained an independent consulting business for 8 years that specialized in developing and implementing controls and procedures to enhance and streamline operational and accounting workflows. Mr. Herschman's client list included Wasserstein Perella, Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein, Shumway Capital Partners and Citigroup Alternative Capital Markets. Prior to that, Mr. Herschman was previously employed by Lehman Brothers for 12 years, most recently as a vice president and manager in the Trade Analysis area of the Middle Office.

Mr. Herschman received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Brooklyn College. After leaving Lehman Brothers, Mr. Herschman earned Certificates in Programming from both Pace University and Brooklyn College.
