John Barlow is a Vice President in Private Wealth Management and is based in New York. 

Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Barlow was the Director of Investor Relations and Business Development for Battery Global Advisors, a multi-family investment advisor originally established for the partners of Battery Ventures.  Prior to Battery, Mr. Barlow was a Director in Bank of America’s Alternative Investment Group where he led the development and distribution of the Group’s third-party products, which included a single manager program consisting of several privately-offered funds, a registered multi-manager hedge fund of funds, and a sub-advised private multi-strategy real estate fund.  Jack joined Bank of America via its acquisition of FleetBoston Financial, where he had been a Senior Manager inside FleetBoston’s Corporate Strategy and Development Group. 

Mr. Barlow received a B.A. from Hobart College and an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
