John Cashwell is a Managing Director within the Marketing and Client Relations Group at GSO Capital.  He has a key role in marketing the firm's entire suite of credit strategies and also serves as a senior relationship manager for the firm's clients.

Before joining GSO, Mr. Cashwell was a Managing Director of Marketing and Client Service at Seix Investment Advisors where he marketed the firm's High Grade and High Yield investment strategies. Prior to joining Seix, he was Director of Marketing & Client Service at Satellite Asset Management, a multi-strategy hedge fund. Prior to that, he served as Director of Marketing and Client Service within the Fund of Hedge Funds Group at Citigroup Alternative Investments. Mr. Cashwell has also worked at Pimco Equity Advisors and Oppenheimer Capital which were both part of Allianz Global Investors for over seven years.

Mr. Cashwell received a BS from Villanova University and an MBA from Columbia University.
