Since joining GSO Capital, Mr. Smith has been involved primarily with the portfolio analytics tasks managed by the Risk Department.

Prior to joining GSO, Mr. Smith completed a Masters program in Financial Engineering at Columbia University. Josh's position with GSO is his first experience in Finance. Previously, he worked for ten years in software consulting.

Mr. Smith has an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Economics from Williams College.
