Karen Beyer is a Managing Director and the Chief Administrative Officer of the Restructuring & Reorganization Advisory Group, based in New York.  As the CAO of Restructuring, Ms. Beyer is responsible for the administrative management of the group, including career development, recruiting and training, staffing of assignments, new business and expansion opportunities, budgeting and group strategy development and implementation.

Prior to her role in Restructuring, Ms. Beyer was responsible for the firm's professional recruiting and training programs.

Before joining Blackstone in 2005, Ms. Beyer was a Senior Manager at Pfizer, where she was involved with the analysis and execution of product licensing and divestment transactions for Pfizer's global pharmaceuticals business. Prior to that, Ms. Beyer worked at Goldman, Sachs & Co. as an Associate in the Healthcare Group and at Coopers & Lybrand as a Research Analyst in the Integrated Healthcare Consulting Services division.

Ms. Beyer received a B.A. in Psychology from Stanford University, where she graduated with distinction, and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School, where she graduated with honors.
