Since joining Blackstone, Ms. McCarthy has been involved in marketing Blackstone’s private investment funds with a primary focus on Blackstone’s real estate efforts.

Before joining Blackstone in 2010, Ms. McCarthy worked at Goldman, Sachs, where she was a Vice President in the Real Estate Principal Investment Area.  Ms. McCarthy began her career at Goldman Sachs as an Analyst in the Mergers & Strategic Advisory Group within the Investment Banking Division.  In 2002 she transferred to the Real Estate Principal Investment area, where she was involved in acquiring and managing investments on behalf of the Whitehall family of funds and its affiliates, including Goldman Sachs Real Estate Mezzanine Partners and certain niche funds focused on core-quality real estate in the US and opportunities in the Caribbean and Central America. 

Ms. McCarthy received a BA with Distinction in Ethics, Politics and Economics from Yale University.  She is a member of PREA.
