Since joining Blackstone in 2003, Ms. Buten has been involved in the ongoing analysis and evaluation of investment opportunities across several industry categories.

Before joining Blackstone, Ms. Buten worked as an Associate Director within the Leveraged Finance and the Corporate Finance departments at UBS Warburg's offices in Zurich, London and New York.

Ms. Buten received a Master of Management degree, with distinction, from the European School of Management, where she completed a three-year master's program in Paris, Oxford and Berlin. Ms. Buten is fluent in German, French and English.
