Since joining Blackstone in 2006, Mr. Tambellini has been involved in performing operational due diligence on the group’s current and prospective underlying hedge fund managers from a business/financial perspective.

Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Tambellini worked in the hedge fund and fraud investigation divisions of Ernst & Young, LLP. 

Mr. Tambellini received BAs in Economics and English from Lafayette College, where he graduated magna cum laude.  He also received an MS in Accounting from the University of Virginia.
