Matthew W. Quigley is a Senior Managing Director of The Blackstone Group and, with James Didden and Dan Smith, oversees GSO’s Customized Credit Strategies unit, which includes various commingled credit funds, permanent capital vehicles, CLOs, closed-end funds, and leveraged and unleveraged separately managed accounts (SMAs).  He sits on several of GSO’s Investment Committees.

Before joining GSO Capital Partners in 2005, Matthew Quigley was a Managing Director of Credit Suisse First Boston and the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of CSFB’s Alternative Capital Division.  He was also a member of CSFB’s Management Council.  Mr. Quigley joined Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette’s Fixed Income Division in 1994, and became the Chief Operating Officer of the Leveraged Finance Group in 1998.  He assumed a similar role at CSFB in 2000, when it acquired DLJ.

Matthew Quigley received a B.A. with honors from Brown University and an M.B.A. from the Stern School of Business of New York University.
