Mustafa M. Siddiqui is a Principal in the Private Equity group and is based in New York.
Since joining Blackstone in 2009, Mr. Siddiqui has been involved in the execution of Blackstone’s investments in Royal Resources, Alta Energy and Graham Packaging, and in the evaluation of numerous investment opportunities in the energy sector.
Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Siddiqui was an investment professional at Springbok Capital Management LLC, a value-oriented equity hedge fund, where he evaluated and made investments in a wide range of industries. Prior to that, Mr. Siddiqui was an Associate at General Atlantic LLC, where he was involved in the analysis and execution of private equity investments. He began his career as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company.
Mr. Siddiqui received an A.B. in Economics from Harvard College, where he graduated magna cum laude, and an A.M. in Regional Studies from Harvard University. He also received an M.B.A. with High Distinction from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker Scholar. Mr. Siddiqui serves as a director of Royal Resources. He is also a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
