As CAO of Private Equity, Ms. Lynett is responsible for administrative management including career development, recruiting and training, staffing of assignments, new business and expansion opportunities, and other administrative aspects of the group’s activities. Prior to her role in Private Equity, Ms. Lynett was the Chief Administrative Officer of Blackstone's Advisory & Restructuring Group.

Before joining Blackstone in 2005, Ms. Lynett was a Senior Vice President in HSBC’s U.S. Advisory Business. Prior to HSBC, she worked in the Structured Products groups at CSFB and DLJ and was responsible for transaction execution primarily in the Energy sector. Ms. Lynett began her banking career as an Associate in Citigroup’s Investment Banking Division.

Ms. Lynett received a BA in Economics from the University of Chicago where she graduated with honors and was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She received an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
