Paul O’Donnell is a Managing Director in the Restructuring & Reorganisation Group and is based in London.

Since joining Blackstone in January 2008, Mr. O’Donnell has been involved in a wide range of restructuring assignments including advising Thule, Oerlikon, Alliance Medical, Bite, Kloeckner Pentaplast, Viridian, and several major European financial institutions.

Before joining Blackstone, Mr. O'Donnell was an Associate Director at Close Brothers Corporate Finance in London advising on a variety of M&A, debt advisory, and restructuring transactions. Prior to Close Brothers, Mr. O'Donnell qualified as a Chartered Accountant in the Corporate Recovery and Insolvency team at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Mr. O'Donnell received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University College Galway and a Master of Accounting from University College Dublin.
