Christopher Heady is a Senior Managing Director and Head of Real Estate Asia.  Mr. Heady is based in Hong Kong and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Real Estate group’s investment activities and personnel in Asia.

Since joining Blackstone in 2000, Mr. Heady has been involved in a variety of real estate acquisitions and initiatives in the US, Europe and Asia. Most recently, he has played a key role in the Real Estate group’s Asia expansion, including investments in China, India, Japan and Australia valued at approximately $3 billion. 

Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Heady was with Morgan Stanley in London, where he was involved in real estate private equity.

Mr. Heady received a B.A. in Public Policy from the University of Chicago, where he graduated with honors.  He currently serves on the Board of ANREV.
