Robert Tarulli

Robert Tarulli is a Principal of Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies Group and is based in New York.  Mr. Tarulli’s responsibilities include asset management for the investment portfolios, as well as special servicing.  

Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Tarulli was a Vice President at CT Investment Management Co., LLC, a commercial real estate investment manager and rated special servicer that was wholly owned by Capital Trust, Inc. and acquired by Blackstone in December 2012.  Before joining Capital Trust, Mr. Tarulli was a Vice President of Finance for Forest City Ratner Companies where he primarily worked on the financing of the Atlantic Yards Project, a $4.9 billion, mixed-use, public/private development on 22 acres in downtown Brooklyn which includes the Barclays Center, a state-of-the-art sports and entertainment facility and current home of the Brooklyn Nets.  Prior to joining Forest City Ratner, Mr. Tarulli was employed by Capmark Finance Inc., where he was involved in originating and underwriting fixed and floating rate commercial real estate loans.  Previously, Mr. Tarulli was a Captain in the U.S. Army as a Quartermaster Officer while stationed in Kaiserslautern, Germany.

Mr. Tarulli received a B.S. in Business Administration from Bucknell University  as well as an M.B.A from Columbia Business School.
