Since joining Blackstone in 2010, Mr. Buehler has been involved in performing due diligence and monitoring procedures on the group's current and prospective underlying hedge fund investments from a business and financial perspective. In addition, Mr. Buehler assists the Hedge Fund Solutions Group's senior management team in identifying and implementing strategic growth plans and best practices.

Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Buehler worked at Merrill Lynch as a Relationship Manager for the firm’s hedge fund clients. Prior to that, Mr. Buehler was a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Assurance Practice.   

Mr. Buehler received an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Accountancy and Bachelor of Business Administration from Mississippi State University where he graduated summa cum laude. Mr. Buehler is a Certified Public Accountant.
