Tomoki Murai is a Managing Director in Blackstone Credit and Insurance (BXCI) based in Tokyo.

Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Murai worked at JP Morgan Securities in Tokyo, where he was an Executive Director in the Financial Institutions Group, Investment Banking. Prior to rejoining JP Morgan Securities in 2016, he spent 10 years with Merrill Lynch Japan Securities. He initially joined JP Morgan Securities in 2003 as an Analyst.

Mr. Murai received a master's degree in Public Policy from Tohoku University, Graduate School of Law and bachelor's degrees in Chemistry from Sophia University.
