Laura Johnson is a Managing Director in Blackstone Credit, and Insurance (BXCI) based in San Francisco. Ms. Johnson is principally involved in originating and executing opportunities with high growth companies in the technology sector.

Before joining Blackstone, Ms. Johnson was a senior member of the investment team at ORIX Growth Capital where she was responsible for originating and underwriting mid to late-stage software and fintech investments. Prior to ORIX Growth Capital, Ms. Johnson led FP&A and Strategy at RichRelevance, a San Francisco based software company. Ms. Johnson began her career at Prudential Capital Group where she was responsible for underwriting investment opportunities in the middle market.

Ms. Johnson received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Finance from the University of San Francisco.
