James Zhang is a Managing Director in Blackstone Multi-Asset Investing (BXMA).

Before joining Blackstone in 2023, Mr. Zhang was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs Asset Management where he was head of the Hong Kong & Taiwan Client Business. He was responsible for advising institutional clients on asset management solutions across the firm's private and public investing platforms, including alternative investments, equities, fixed income and liquidity management.

Mr. Zhang received a BA from the University of Notre Dame and is a CFA charterholder.
