Jeffrey Nirenberg is a Managing Director in the Real Estate Group. Since joining Blackstone in 2014, Mr. Nirenberg has worked in in the financial reporting group and is involved in tax research, compliance and diligence matters for all Blackstone Real Estate Partners (BREP) funds, Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies (BREDS) funds, and he has also been involved in tax matters relating to fund formation as well as BREP / BREDS acquisitions and dispositions. 

Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Nirenberg was a Tax Manager at Deloitte & Touche, where he provided tax services to real estate investment trusts, opportunity funds and partnerships in the real estate industry including BREP. 

Mr. Nirenberg received a BS in Accounting and a MS in Taxation from the University at Albany.  He is an IRS Enrolled Agent.
