Amanda Downy is a Managing Director and Human Resources Business Partner supporting the Blackstone Credit & Insurance, Infrastructure, and Strategic Partners businesses.

Before joining Blackstone, Ms. Downy was the Head of Human Capital at Sycamore Partners where she was responsible for building the HR function and enabling talent strategy. Prior to Sycamore, she spent eight years at Apollo Global Management, most recently as the HR Business Partner for the Credit business. Over her Apollo tenure, she previously covered the Private Equity and Real Estate businesses, as well as the Executive Office and several corporate functions. She began her career at Deutsche Bank as an HR Business Partner.

Ms. Downy received a B.S. in Communication and a Human Resources Concentration from Cornell University, where she also minored in Applied Economics and Management.
