Karen Putterman is a Managing Director in the Portfolio Operations Group where she is focused on asset management for energy transition and climate solution investments in Private Equity.

Before joining Blackstone, Ms. Putterman spent 10 years at Collins Aerospace where she was most recently Vice President/General Manager for Collins Aerospace’s Military Landing Gear Business. Previously, she held multiple business & operations leadership roles across the portfolio. Earlier in her career, she worked in manufacturing operations at The Boeing Company.

Ms. Putterman received a BA in Natural Resource Management from Brandeis University, an MBA from University of Michigan Ross School of Business, and an MS from University of Michigan’s School of Natural Resources & Environment.
