Prateek Roongta is a Managing Director in the Portfolio Operations group and is based out of Mumbai. Mr. Roongta primarily focuses on providing strategic direction and monitoring the performance and development of Blackstone portfolio companies in India.

Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Roongta was a MD and Partner at Boston Consulting Group, where he advised banks and financial institutions on strategy, operations and digital transformation. Previously, he has also worked at True North Partners LLP and Kearney.

Mr. Roongta has an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, as well as a qualified Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary and a graduate in Commerce from the University of Delhi.
