Christoph Matern is a Managing Director in Blackstone Multi-Asset Investing (BXMA).

Prior to joining Blackstone, Mr. Matern was a Managing Director at HPS Investment Partners in New York for over 10 years, focused on investing across credit and special situations. Mr. Matern started his career in the Investment Banking team at J.P. Morgan in London.

Mr. Matern received an MBA from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He received his undergraduate degree in International Business Administration and a CEMS Master in International Management from the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.
