Tom McMackin is a Managing Director in Blackstone’s Private Equity Group.

Mr. McMackin worked at Blackstone from 2012 to 2016 and, following the completion of an M.B.A., rejoined the firm in 2018. Mr. McMackin has been involved in Blackstone’s investments in First Eagle Asset Management and Alight Solutions. Before joining the Private Equity group in 2014, Mr. McMackin worked in Blackstone’s Restructuring & Reorganization Advisory practice.

Mr. McMackin received a BBA in Finance with a secondary major in Economics from the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated summa cum laude and was elected to Beta Gama Sigma, and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.
