Amy Chen is a Managing Director with Blackstone Credit.  Ms. Chen heads up the tax compliance and reporting function for all Blackstone Credit's investment funds and its affiliated entities.  Her responsibilities include managing the tax compliance and reporting obligation both in the US and in foreign jurisdictions as well as FATCA compliance. Before joining Blackstone, Ms. Chen was a Director of Tax at Amber Capital Investment Management where she was responsible for all tax matters related to the investments funds as well as the management company. She collaborated with the investment team, operation team and legal team on all portfolio transactions. Prior to joining Amber Capital, she was a Senior Tax Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers’s asset management tax group based in New York where she provided a wide range of tax services to private investment fund clients. Ms. Chen was also a Tax Manager at Arthur Andersen’s financial services tax group based in New York where she provided similar tax services to private investment fund clients as well as international banking clients. Ms. Chen received her BBA in Accounting from Bernard M. Baruch College. She is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institution of Certified Public Accountants.
