Sean Cort is a Senior Managing Director with Blackstone and is the Head of Middle Office and Risk Management for Credit, BREDS Liquids and BIS. Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Cort was Chief Administrative Officer of Fortress Investment Group, overseeing the managed account platform, global trading activities, financial planning and strategic initiatives for the hedge fund business. Prior to that, he worked at Credit Suisse where he managed the Prime Services client documentation team, responsible for client fund onboarding, operational and credit related issues. Before Credit Suisse, he worked at Credit Agricole overseeing U.S. capital markets activities and the integration of the U.S. operations of Credit Lyonnais and Credit Agricole. Mr. Cort also worked at Deustche Bank AG where he covered the Global Markets business supporting various trading desks. Mr. Cort received a JD from Boston University and BA from the University of Rochester, with a Management Certificate from the Simon School of Business.
