Andrew Hamada is a Managing Director in Blackstone Multi-Asset Investing (BXMA).

Before joining Blackstone in 2015, Mr. Hamada worked at Morgan Stanley, where he oversaw the Alternative Investment Group’s investment products, lead the manager due diligence process and was also a member of the Principal Investment Committee. Mr. Hamada was also responsible for the firm's largest relationships with Japanese financial institutions, pension plans, and pension consultants. Earlier in his career, Mr. Hamada worked at Legg Mason’s Quantitative Analysis Group as a research consultant and was a research assistant at the Biostatistics Laboratory at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institute.

Mr. Hamada graduated from Johns Hopkins University where he completed a B.S. degree in Applied Mathematics and Statistics/pre-medicine.
