Craig Newman is a Managing Director in the Real Estate group, based in Sydney. Before joining Blackstone Mr. Newman was the Fund Manager for a wholesale office fund with Charter Hall and, prior to that, the Head of Asset Management for the group’s Office and Industrial portfolios. Before Charter Hall, Mr. Newman was a Division Director and Head of Portfolio Management with Macquarie Group where he was involved in the asset management of property portfolios located in Australia, Europe and Japan. Mr. Newman received a Bachelor of Business (Property) from RMIT University and is an Associate member of the Australian Property Institute.
