John Simkiss is a Senior Managing Director of Blackstone, serving as the Portfolio Strategist of Harvest Fund Advisors, Blackstone’s publicly traded MLP and Yield-Oriented Investment Platform. Having joined Blackstone in 2017, Mr. Simkiss focuses on public market investment opportunities for Harvest. Mr. Simkiss has served on Harvest’s Investment Committee since inception in 2005.

Before joining Harvest, Mr. Simkiss was a partner at Vivum Group. Prior to that, Mr. Simkiss spent over a decade in a commercial insurance group where he managed a high yield bond and risk arbitrage fund.

Mr. Simkiss received a BA in Political Science from Trinity College.
