Taro Squires is a Managing Director in the Real Estate Group based in Tokyo. He is involved with Asset Management.

Before joining Blackstone, Mr. Squires spent 5 years with H.J. Asset Management in Tokyo, where he was a founding member and Representative Director. His responsibilities included the establishment, licensing, and management of the firm; and the origination and execution of real estate and infrastructure investments in Japan.

Prior to HJ Asset Management, Mr. Squires spent 11 years with Goldman Sachs in Tokyo and Singapore, with primary responsibilities in real estate investment and asset management. Mr. Squires has also worked at Morgan Stanley Japan in investment banking, and Itochu Corporation in Australia and Japan in natural resource and infrastructure investment.

Mr. Squires received a Bachelor of International Business from Griffith University.
