Andrew Cron is a Managing Director in the Portfolio Operations Group at Blackstone, where he assists portfolio companies in leveraging data and AI technologies to achieve their business objectives.

Before joining Blackstone, Andrew served as the Chief Data Officer at Upshop, a retail operations technology company. He was previously a Vice President at Kroger, where he led technology research and development, and served as Senior Vice President at 84.51°, Kroger's data science subsidiary, focusing on applied AI initiatives in supply chain, retail operations, and merchandising. Earlier in his career, Andrew was a Principal Data Scientist at Citadel.

Andrew holds a PhD in Statistical Science from Duke University and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
