Jack Pitts is a Senior Managing Director in the Legal & Compliance Group, where he serves as General Counsel of BXMA. Mr. Pitts is a Co-Chair of the Blackstone Diverse Professionals Network Task Force and a member of the Blackstone Charitable Foundation Leadership Council. Since joining Blackstone, Mr. Pitts has been involved in the legal structuring of BXMA’s customized and commingled multi-manager portfolios as well as the review, analysis and negotiation of investments by BXMA’s Multi-Strategy platform and other direct trading platforms and investment opportunities.

Before joining Blackstone in 2012, Mr. Pitts was an Associate at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP where he focused on advising sponsors of and institutional investors in private investment funds.

Mr. Pitts received a B.S. in Financial Management from Hillsdale College and a J.D. from Howard University School of Law, where he served as the Managing Editor of the Howard Law Journal.
