Margaret McSpadden is a Managing Director in the Legal & Compliance group and supports Blackstone’s Credit business. Since joining Blackstone in 2016, Ms. McSpadden has been involved in strategic transactions, fund structuring and related projects, investment transactions, and other legal and compliance matters.

Prior to joining Blackstone Credit, Ms. McSpadden worked as an associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in New York, representing both sponsors and lenders in M&A and leverage finance transactions, and prior to Willkie, worked as a corporate associate at Cahill Gordon & Reindel LLP in New York, representing lenders in leverage finance transactions.

Ms. McSpadden received a B.A., magna cum laude, from Duke University in 2008 and was a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and received a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2011.
