Max Besong is a Managing Director in Blackstone Credit and Insurance (BXCI) based in New York. Mr. Besong is focused on CLO Investing within Liquid Credit Strategies.

Prior to joining Blackstone in 2023, Mr. Besong worked at JPMorgan, most recently as the Global Head of CLO Trading. Prior to that, Mr. Besong was a Director at Citigroup, within the Structured Products Trading business. He held several roles, including trading and the syndication of CLOs/CDOs.

Mr. Besong received a BS in Business Administration from the University of Arizona, graduating magna cum laude. Mr. Besong is also a CFA charterholder.
