Melissa Cooper is a Managing Director in Blackstone’s Technology and Innovations (BXTI) group. She oversees communications for BXTI and Blackstone Innovations Investments. In addition, she leads BXTI’s Technology Training team, which is focused on upskilling employees across the firm on Blackstone’s technology offerings. 

Before joining Blackstone, Ms. Cooper worked at Barclays as a Communications and Content Manager for the firm’s Group Technology and Innovation Office. Prior to Barclays, Ms. Cooper was a Senior Associate at EY where she helped drive executive and employee communications for the firm’s Americas Financial Services Organization. She started her career at a healthcare communications firm where she focused on corporate reputation, issues management and integrated marketing campaigns for leading food and beverage companies. 

Ms. Cooper received a BA in Communication Arts from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
