Michael V. Ferri is a Managing Director in the Global Fund Finance group where he focuses on the accounting, financial reporting, and fund operations for open-ended products within the Blackstone Real Estate business.

Before joining Blackstone in 2015, Mr. Ferri was a Vice President and Fund Controller for the hybrid fund of funds at Fortress Investment Group responsible for fund management, financial statement preparation, and operations. Prior to Fortress Investment Group, he was an Assurance Senior within the financial service group at BDO USA providing assurance services to alternative investment funds. Prior to BDO USA, he began his career at Ivy Asset Management where he held various finance roles in accounting, investment performance measurement and reporting, and operations for hedge fund of funds products.

Mr. Ferri received a BBA in Finance from Hofstra University, where he graduated cum laude. He also received a MS in Accounting from the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College.
