Mike Lynch is a Managing Director in the Institutional Client Solutions group, responsible for investors in North and South America for Private Equity-related strategies.

Before joining Blackstone in 2024, Mike was a Partner at Apax Partners, where he served as the Head of Americas Fundraising and Investor Relations. Prior to joining Apax Partners, Mike worked in operations for AB InBev, and as an investment banker in Morgan Stanley’s Transportation Group. He is also a former Captain in the U.S. Army where he graduated from the U.S. Army Ranger School and served in combat as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He also deployed as part of Joint Task Force Katrina in 2005, leading a platoon during the rescue and relief efforts in New Orleans, Louisiana in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Mike received a BS with Distinction from the United States Military Academy, West Point, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
